We are honored to invite you to the conference „Connecting Health Care Professionals via ICT. Tele-mentoring and Tele-consultation in Primary Health Care,” which will take place on February 14th, 2014 in Tallinn, Estonia.
This conference is dedicated to showing the results and developments of the PrimCareIT project. Our European partners have been working towards solutions to counteract health care professionals brain drain and professional isolation in rural areas. Our goal was to make remote primary health care more attractive to health professionals. By testing and piloting tele-mentoring and tele-consultation we found a way to secure more equal access to health services for all citizens. Deployment of tele-consultation and tele-mentoring also provides opportunities for professional networking, continuing medical education and career development.
The conference program is interesting and stimulating, offering a survey of our project’s achievements. I hope that our conference will also be a platform for health care workers, academics and political decision-makers to share their ideas and views, and to think more about the remote primary care challenge all of Europe is facing.
I welcome you to our conference
Hope to see you in Tallinn!
